Role Overview

We are seeking a results-driven, strategic Vice President of Sales to lead our sales organization, with a focus on driving new business acquisition while retaining and expanding relationships with existing customers. This individual will oversee all aspects of sales strategy, execution, and team development, ensuring Western Computer continues to grow its market share and revenue in the competitive ERP and technology consulting landscape. Reporting to the CEO, the VP of Sales will be a key member of the leadership team, shaping the company’s sales vision and driving initiatives that align with Western Computer’s growth objectives.

Location: Remote, some travel required

What you’ll do:

Sales Strategy & Leadership:

    • Develop and execute a comprehensive sales strategy to achieve revenue growth targets.
    • Identify new business opportunities and emerging markets to expand Western Computer’s footprint.
    • Collaborate with the executive team to align sales initiatives with overall company goals.

    Team Management:

      • Lead, mentor, and grow a high-performing sales team, fostering a culture of accountability, innovation, and collaboration.
      • Set clear performance expectations and provide regular coaching and feedback.
      • Recruit, onboard, and retain top sales talent.

      Customer Engagement:

        • Build strong relationships with key customers, ensuring satisfaction and long-term partnerships.
        • Collaborate with the marketing and delivery teams to create tailored proposals and value-driven solutions for clients.

        Pipeline & Revenue Management:

        • Oversee the sales pipeline, ensuring accurate forecasting and reporting.
        • Implement tools and processes to enhance sales operations, efficiency, and effectiveness.
        • Track performance metrics and adjust strategies to meet or exceed targets.

        Partnership Development:

        • Strengthen Western Computer’s partnership with Microsoft and other strategic partners (ISVs).
        • Represent Western Computer at industry events, conferences, and partner forums.

        Market Insights & Innovation:

        • Stay updated on industry trends, competitor activities, and technological advancements.
        • Advocate for service improvements based on market feedback.

        What you’ll bring:

        • 10+ years of experience in sales leadership roles, preferably in the ERP or technology consulting industry.
        • Proven success in leading sales teams and achieving aggressive growth targets.
        • Strong understanding of Microsoft Dynamics 365 and related solutions.
        • Familiarity with Microsoft’s partner ecosystem (preferred)
        • Experience working with mid-market and enterprise clients.
        • Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.
        • Strategic thinker with the ability to execute tactically.
        • Data-driven decision-making skills and proficiency with CRM tools.
        • Ability to travel as needed to meet with clients, partners, and team members
